We all have our own vices which manifest in different ways. I am exploring how these vices affect both ourselves personally, and society as a whole. Thinking more about repetition, copies, and patterns, I have been intrigued by how these things manifest themselves in everyday life - overconsumption, habitual repetition, addiction, gluttony, etc. I am trying to convey how they make us feel and think about ourselves. The abstraction of the faces ultimately is a representation of the denial experienced as a part of overconsumption. The other form in my piece is the body bag containing a human form. Together the trash cans and body bag are set up to look like trash waiting for pickup. Here we are left to consider the effects of our overconsumption and habit.
