Artist Statement
Throughout my life, art has been a window for myself expression and personal reflection. Growing up, I struggled with my health and some of its negative effects on my life. Art has always been a way for me to escape from that. My work is an examination of my childhood memories. Nostalgia is an incredibly powerful force and it’s motivated me to make my childhood memories and past experiences the primary theme throughout my work.
