Artist Statement
Through my artwork, I share the complexities and tenderness in relationships. Examining both the healthy and unhealthy dynamics of friendships, family, and romantic relationships, is an essential part of the work’s narrative. Inspired by people from the Appleton community, through painting, photography, and audio documentation, the work seeks to create thoughtful narratives to unmask, appreciate, and better understand our personal connections on a deeper level. The goal of my artwork is to connect, spark conversation, encourage self-reflection, and curiosity about relationships. In doing so, will make the potential for deeper personal connection possible.
