Artist Statement
After studying for around seven years in the United States, I started to fear of adjusting back to the life in my hometown- Hong Kong. The feeling of isolation and apprehension from spending summer and winter breaks at home has led me to see another side of the glamorous exciting city. My intention has always been to explore surroundings, figures, landscapes, and architectures through the camera. For this piece, my goal is aiming to capture the sense of stillness and emptiness in a time.
