I went on tour with a couple of bands for ten days and we slept in a lot of living rooms on a lot of couches and floors and we ate a lot of fast food and I took a bunch of pictures and very few of them really came out well.
This place is the barrier between past and present. It’s where we can safely put strangers and where we make plans for the future and where we distract ourselves from the pain of any of those places in time. I lost my toiletries bag and I danced the polka with my boyfriend’s dad.
Nobody listens to what they are saying unless you record it and we’re all just a bunch of dead horses beating other dead horses in basements with Packer’s patterned curtains and duct tape holding the ceiling together.
They don’t put trigger warnings on green 2007 Honda C-RV’s but that’s okay because my eyes are closed and I’m driving. I don’t think I could explain this any other way and I’m glad.
