In her talk, Amanda will share her experiences as a games journalist in the Bay Area and graduate student with the Games+Learning+Society group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She will also talk about how this year’s Game Developer Conference in San Francisco gave voice to some important conversations about the culture of the games industry and about the roles of women in games. These conversations have important implications for everyone who makes and plays games both now and in the future.
