Abstract
This lecture on Brecht, delivered at Lawrence University on October 16th, 2015, was designed for students and faculty in the college’s Freshman Studies program. Freshman Studies, a multidisciplinary introduction to the liberal arts, has been the cornerstone of the Lawrence curriculum for over fifty years. Timothy Troy is a Professor of Theatre Arts and J. Thomas and Julie Esch Hurvis Professor of Theatre and Drama.
