After graduating from Lawrence, I will be pursuing a career in book, magazine, and digital publishing. It was important to me that I understand the ins and outs of the publishing process, so I dedicated my senior capstone to creating a book from scratch. Thus, Francis the Space Fox was born.
Through designing the digital images, hand-binding the covers, and orchestrating a visually driven narrative, I can now confidently say I know what it takes to put together a book. This experience will serve me well beyond my time at Lawrence, though it would not have been possible without the countless resources from Lawrence University, including the guidance of the studio art faculty and grants from alumni.
Francis has been a joy to create, and I hope he brings you joy as well!
